This week I visited St. Luke’s Catholic Primary School in Frodsham where I got to meet the school council and witness an absolutely brilliant debate. The Children were debating whether they should get rid of school uniforms, with some really articulate views, handled skillfully by the young speaker.

In the end the vote to abolish school uniforms won the day – but the head reliably informed the vote was non-binding.

This is one of a series of school visits I have conducted throughout the constituency, I have been so impressed with the level of political knowledge expressed by Weaver Vale’s young people!
