Mike Amesbury Member of Parliament for Weaver Vale
There was a great response to this year’s Christmas card competition.
Usually this time of year I ask school children around Weaver Vale to submit their artwork to be on the front of my annual Christmas card. The cards are sent to schools, charities, community groups and other stakeholders around the constituency. No taxpayer money is used.
This year things are a little different and I asked constituents of any age to send in their photographs instead. We had some fantastic entries and the overall winner was Ian McIntyre with his picture of All Saint’s Daresbury, at the Christingle service on Christmas eve 2019. Second place was a wonderful Elf design from young Lewis Blake, age 10. Ian’s picture will go on the front and Lewis’s will go on the back of each card.
Please see below the winning entries and some other brilliant pictures that were submitted. Thank you again to everyone who entered.
