This morning I have been with staff from the Environment Agency who have been working all night and today in Northwich. Many thanks to the residents and local businesses & councillors who have been in touch. Beyond the “here and now” need to pump out the water an inquiry is needed into how the defenses have clearly failed. Residents have also expressed concerns about developments on Flood Plains.
